I have been remiss in publicly thanking some wonderfully generous stitchy friends out there. My apologies!
Vonna totally blew me away with her “cleaning” binge when she sent me not only several Brightneedle Mary Kirby designs, but also a number of small kits for Max to enjoy. Vonna, you’re such a sweetie – thank you! As Vonna knows, I have ‘big’ plans for the Mary Kirby designs … watch this space.
And Sue very generously sent me Glad Tidings by Blackbird Designs. I’m thinking of doing this one for the upcoming BBD exchange. For anyone interested, this is a year-long exchange and although the first round is closed, there will be more.
Thank you also to Cathy B.whose ‘care envelope’ included two fabulous La-D-Da freebies that I want to start stitching right now!
I recently won a long-wanted Brightneedle design from Riona - lucky me! Good for the Gander is a design that has been in and out of my shopping cart countless times, so I’m really very excited. Thank you, Riona!
And once again, thank you to the very kind stitching friends who’ve mentioned my blog for various awards. Because I’m never really comfortable in passing awards along to only a few blogs, I don’t always post the award itself on my blog. But I do really appreciate your kind thoughts!
In closing, here are some pictures I snapped of the kids yesterday afternoon. I sent them to my Mom so we could enjoy a virtual cup of coffee together.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!! Ours was supposed to be sunny, but the forecast got it wrong. Thank you all for your wonderful comments about my recent finishes.

I love those photos of the kids – co cute! How tall is Nicky? And how much stitching does Max do? My son, Jose, stitches every now and then. He’s still working on his frog. However, he doesn’t pick it up enough to just sit without a refresher course.
You are so lucky with all the new stash and goodies and you are so blessed with so many friends. Hugs!

Such wonderful friends, but I have a feeling you are very deserving! Beautiful pictures of the kids, and I hope you enjoyed your virtual cup of coffee.
We are having a beautiful sunny day. I’ll try to persuade Mother Nature to send it your way.

Wonderful stitching goodies, and I’ve enjoyed seeing the different Easter/Bunny pieces you showed earlier. Your new Blackbird designs piece will be lovely as well. Saw where you’re trying to get back home again, hopefully this year goes well and your mom is resting comfortably when you get there, a hip replacement sounds painful. Loved your earlier spagetti pictures too, spagetti and chocolate cake sound like a yummy combo, and everyone certainly looked to be enjoying it.

That Vonna is a dear! What a nice collection for both you and Max!
I was showing Bri the photos and we definitely think Arden is getting to look more like a toddler than a baby! They are all growing like weeds.

Love the kid montage. I can easily make out what everyone is up to, except Nick. What’s he doing?
He’s “fishing” on Wii Play. LOL!
