We’ve enjoyed a wonderful, relaxed May Day here. I even got some stitching done! I ran outside a few minutes ago to get a picture in the last of the natural light. For anyone interested, my color changes are as follows (unless noted, all silks are from Vicki Clayton):
- 801 – Autumn Leaves/Fire Thorn
- 163 – PennyWort 3445
- white – White Chocolate
- 151 -
- 159 – Pussy Willow
- 161 – Moon-Called Sea
- 310 -
- 3778 – Phlox 1337
- 224 – Phlox 1337 (one strand)
- 739 – Natural Dye Studio “golden rod”
- 498 – Moon-Called Sea

I’m about to stitch the hearts, which I plan to change, using a dark reddish-brown silk from HDF (unmarked from a grab bag) and stitching our initials over-one.
Also on a beautiful stitching note, go take a look at the drool-worthy giveaway at Stitch Pink!
On this lovely day, I’ll leave you with a picture of Mother Nature’s abundance in our backyard.
